TED comes to Wollongong University 29th May

"Medical Bionics: An interdisciplinary approach"
Tuesday 29th May, 2012. From 5:30pm at the University of Wollongong

TED, The international phenomenon of ideas worth spreading, is for the first time, coming to Wollongong. The University of Wollongong (UOW) is hosting this very special independently organised TEDx event, which will see some of our best and brightest researchers at UOW share their life’s work and passion for the cutting edge field of medical bionics; a field which is currently developing the next generation of the bionic ear, bionic eye and conduits that facilitate nerve repair (for spinal cord damage). Presenter of ABC Radio National’s Science Show, Dr Robyn Williams, will be MC for the evening.
